Not directly inspired by Memoirs of a Geisha... it's not a hidden fact that I am slightly obsessed with all things Japanese (and before you ask, no I am not Japanese).

So I've been working on this on and off for about a month now. I probably put more time into this than it looks. If you saw my color pallet, you'd wonder what was wrong with me :D After a while, I got lazy and omitted some details that are indicative of a Maiko (or apprentice Geisha). This particular Maiko is a very young one, having had her debut not very long ago. The frame was made from a path shape I made. And this will be the last time I EVER do a kimono. The pattern took me DAYS to do. Way too much effort for what it produced :hmm:

I think that's why it took me so long. to do all of that with just a mouse... :disbelief: I think I need to invest in a decent tablet :XD:
