Advanced critique. Let's see. First off it is a beautiful piece, well thought out in construction and brilliantly executed. Lovely crisp lines, not ragged. Very nice indeed.

This is an elegant combination of a landscape and still life. Love your joyous celebration of different graphic languages, from naturalistic representation to iconic abstract design. Love the spider web on the moon. Strong mature drawing. Great work.

BTW. Would also make a great design on quality gift merchandise. Cards, dinnerware, clothing etc. I think you could earn real money from this kind of work. The strength of the line work means it reproduces well on a small scale.

wow... thank you!

recently, I've begun to actually see my own artwork without complete criticism. I'm giving what I'm doing much more thought and time to ferment in my mind before putting ink to paper. I'm abandoning my nit-picky perfectionism that is so inherent to me and working with the flaws without letting it distract me.

I'll look into your suggestions about seeing if my work can turn a tidy profit :) It'd be great if I could... the extra cash would always be welcome... but we'll see if I actually get around to it.

and thank you very much for the :+fav:
it means a lot to me
